Does BTS Live Together? | Who Is The Youngest In BTS?

BTS or Bangtan or 방탄소년단 are seven young men from South Korea who debuted on June 12, 2013, with their first album, 2 Cool 4 Skool, and released their most recent album, Love Yourself: Tear, on May 18, 2018. Their name, BTS, stands for the Korean expression Bangtan Sonyeondan, which translates to Bulletproof Boy Scouts in English.

Do They Live Together?

The seven members of BTS (V, Jin, Suga, RM, Jimin, J-Hope, and Jungkook) all live in different countries. Rap Monster lives with his parents and sister in California. Suga’s family is currently living with him in Korea. Meanwhile, V moved out to an apartment on his own when he was 18 years old, while Jungkook just left home to pursue his path at 17 years old.

Jimin lives with his mother while they are both based out of Korea; however, he often says he wishes to move out on his own soon since they’re so far apart now due to their busy schedules. J-Hope and Jin share a house with one other roommate, where they all coexist harmoniously.

Who Is The Youngest Member In BTS?

All BTS members are indeed young, but there is some variation in age. While fans typically refer to Jungkook as being BTS’ youngest member, he’s not — as revealed by his no reply/mysterious line. (That honor goes to Jimin.)

But how much older than Jungkook are Jin, V, Suga, J-Hope, and RM? Let’s take a look. Here’s what each BTS member looks like Namjoon (RM), 24; Yoongi (Suga), 28; Hoseok (J-Hope), 24; Jimin, 22; Taehyung (V), 23; and Jungkook, 20.

How Did They First Meet

Before becoming known worldwide as one of K-pop’s biggest boy bands, BTS was created by Bang Si-hyuk and co-produced by Pyo In-bong. Bang knew that having a band made up of young people would have an appeal to a younger audience and enlisted producer Pyo to help create an act for Sony Music.

In 2013, BTS began releasing music on SoundCloud to build its online presence without any formal debut process. The group’s social media accounts started building momentum, and fans began sharing content about BTS on other platforms. By 2014, they posted music videos on YouTube and made appearances on Korean variety shows to gain exposure from different audiences.

What Is Their Role In The Group

You may not know, but every group of friends has a leader, someone everyone can turn to when they have a problem or an argument. In BTS, that person is J-Hope, whose name comes from his hope to become an emotional leader for every member of BTS.

He makes sure that if any member of BTS isn’t feeling well emotionally or physically, he will do everything he can to help them feel better. Through his role as emotional leader, J-Hope tries to make each member feel like an equal in the group and allow their personalities to shine through.

Are All Members Close Friends?

The boys of BTS all share a close bond. They are frequently seen hanging out and going on outings with one another. They even spend their vacation time together, like going to Thailand for their annual summer vacation or skiing at luxury hotels.

Even from a young age, Jin shared that he wanted to spend his future as a member of BTS and with his members, explaining how important they were to him during an interview when he was 12 years old. In his words: I don’t want to become an adult if I have to leave my friends. He has been sure to maintain close relationships with his group members.

How Much Do They Make A Year

BTS hasn’t released exact figures, but they were recently featured on Billboard’s Money Makers 2018: 20 Best-Paid Musicians list at #13. If you multiply $44 million by seven, their total earnings are around $304 million. The boys likely take home a large chunk of their income through music sales and merchandise (including those super-popular red water bottles).

In 2016 alone, BTS topped iTunes charts in 73 countries, sold out two Japanese dome tours, and won New Artist of the Year at Billboard Music Awards and Melon Music Awards. They were also named Highest Social Artist at the Awards Show in 2017 and 2018.

Do They Have Any Pets (BTS)

Because every member of BTS loves animals so much, their agency, Big Hit Entertainment, gave them their own BTS pet: a dog named Trixx. The group’s puppy has her own Instagram account! BTS’s little girl Trixxie was adopted from a shelter in Seoul when she was only ten weeks old and just over 3 pounds.

The group shares photos and videos of their dog on Instagram. It even features her in several music videos, like Blood Sweat & Tears and Not Today. Once, they brought her home to practice being big brothers. How sweet!

Did They Ever Win Any Awards

If you’re already a K-pop fan, you know BTS has won several significant awards—but they probably didn’t win any that we still care about. In 2013, BTS won a Golden Disk Award (Korea’s equivalent of a Grammy) for New Artist of The Year, but it was all downhill.

In 2017, they became the first-ever K-pop group to win at America’s most prestigious music awards ceremony (the Billboard Music Awards), winning Top Social Artist. They also just so happened to beat out Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

Have They Ever Been Nominated For An Award

Yes, several. BTS won Top Social Artist at last year’s Billboard Music Awards. They won Favorite Social Artist at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards. They were nominated for a 2017 MTV Video Music Award for Best Fan Army. This year, they’re set for Top Duo/Group at both awards shows and World’s Best Entertainer and World’s Best Album at The World Music Awards. However, you should know that even though their nominations are exciting, awards aren’t everything to artists and shouldn’t determine if you should be a fan or not.

BTS or Bangtan Boys or Bulletproof Boy Scouts are a Korean group that gained international attention after performing at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium. BTS was ranked No. 7 by Billboard on its list of 2017 Top Artists: Streaming and no. 3 for Billboard’s 2017 Top Artists: Social 50. The members include Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM (formerly Rap Monster), Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They have built their fame from YouTube and online streaming.
